They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I 100% agree. Brunch is the best meal: rich, savory, filling and has the best cocktails! In Brunch Ya Know? I feature my favorite brunch spots in San Diego. Dig in & enjoy! xoxo, natoutandabout
This week my Brunch Ya Know? is a hidden gem in La Jolla, Caroline’s Seaside Cafe. It’s connected the Scripps Seaside Forum. There are two ways to get there: take La Jolla Shores Drive or you can walk on the beach and go up the steps to the restaurant.
Refreshing Mimosas
The menu is craftily created by the well-known Giuseppe. We went on a gorgeous sunny Saturday morning. Along with great food, you get an epic view of the Scripps Pier, La Jolla Shores and the Cove. We had fresh squeeze OJ in our Mimosas made with Villa Sandi Prosecco. I had the Mediterranean Scramble with feta, tomatoes, garden basil and my boyfriend at the Pan Seared Salmon Salad with organic greens, avocado, pineapple salsa toasted sesame seeds tossed in citrus vinaigrette.
