Vogue: KAABOO 2016 Style Guide

KAABOO is back and ready for its second season! Me and my crew are heading back to the track from sun, rock and roll and good times.

KAABOO killed it last year by providing the ultimate mix experience of music, art, comedy and food. Located by the Pacific, KAABOO, combines Del Mar luxury lifestyle with festival vibes. It’s like the 4 o’clock Friday Del Mar concert series time a 100.

KAABOO’s fashion isn’t as much as a contest at Coachella’s. I prepared my outfits by style & comfort.

I’m all about shopping local and bargain shopping. I picked my rompers from Wysh Boutique in Carlsbad and Vixen Boutique  in Encinitas. Both boutiques have a variety of unique finds for your high-end So-Cal lady or more relaxed So-Cal beach bum.

Friday: Romping around the office & KAABOO

The first day of the festival is on Friday so I’ll be coming from work. Instead of having to go home and change, I picked a romper that is work and concert friendly. For my first look, I’m wearing a  flirty floral  romper from Vixen Boutique.  FYI Vixen is having a pre-Kaaboo party this Wednesday 9/14 to find some KAABOO swag. Sophisticated by day, chic by night for Jimmy Buffett & Fall Out Boy

Saturday: Hippy Central

My outfit palate is a simple black tank top & tan crochet shores.(Closet PB) My stand out piece, is my groovy patterned kimono with black fringe. Scored the kimono from the Kobey’s Swap meet at the Sports Arena. Cool & casual to rock out to the Goo Goo Dolls, Lenny Kravitz and Aerosmith.

Sunday: So-Cal feminine

The last day of Kaaboo is the place for Sunday funday. My last outfit is my pastel pink romper from Wysh Boutique. It’s light weight with pockets. Laugh it up with Garfunkel & Oats and chill out with San Diego favorite Jack Johnson.
